Mabuhay MIles and Immigration New Zealand Contract Signing

Philippine Airlines lauds Immigration New Zealand’s latest project streamlining visitor visa applications of Mabuhay Miles members.

With this service innovation, Mabuhay Miles Elite, Premiere Elite and Million Milers as well as their partners and dependents traveling with them will go through a fast, hassle-free five-day visa application process.

Under the streamlined program, Mabuhay Miles Card holders only need to present their Elite card and the completed application form to Immigration New Zealand VISA  application centers in Manila and Cebu.  Applications via the INZ website will also be accepted.

Eligible to enjoy this shortened visa processing, which runs until May 31, 2019, are Mabuhay Milers who are touring, visiting relatives or friends and who are on a business trip to New Zealand not longer than three months to a year.

“I wish to thank the New Zealand government for this service innovation which proves beneficial to our valued clients. The shortened visa processing period is a manifestation of our desire to ease visa requirements and encourage travel to the destinations we fly to,” PAL President and COO Jaime J. Bautista.

For his part, New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines David Strachan said, “Our new arrangement with PAL is a good example of the creative ways we can work together to continue growing our people connections.  I am especially pleased to see this outcome as New Zealand and the Philippines Celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations in 2016.”

Philippine Airlines flies four times weekly to Auckland, New Zealand via Cairns, Australia.
