“Bonus Miles” Campaign – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the campaign ("Campaign"), organized by Philippine Airlines Limited (“PAL”), enable Mabuhay Miles members to earn from 1.5x to 2x bonus Mabuhay Miles (“Bonus Mabuhay Miles”) when they convert their Bank Reward Points (“Bank Reward Points”) with any participating bank to Mabuhay Miles (“Base Mabuhay Miles”), as prescribed by PAL from time to time in its sole and absolute discretion. This Campaign commences on 25 April 2022, 00:00hrs (GMT+8) and ends on 5 June 2022, 23:59hrs (GMT+8) (“Campaign Period”).

A. Bonus Mabuhay Miles

1. This Campaign is open to all Mabuhay Miles members who are qualifying credit cardholders of participating banks in Philippines and have Bank Reward Points.

2. Qualifying credit cards are those credit cards with respective banks that offers conversion of Bank Reward Points to Mabuhay Miles.

3. Any non-Mabuhay Miles member who is a customer of participating banks in Philippines and has Bank Rewards Points can participate in the campaign by first signing up as a Mabuhay Miles member on the Mabuhay Miles website.

4. A Mabuhay Miles member will earn Bonus Mabuhay Miles if he or she converts his or her Bank Reward Points from all participating banks except RCBC and HSBC into at least 2,000 Base Mabuhay Miles (2,500 Mabuhay Miles for RCBC and 3,000 Mabuhay Miles for HSBC) cumulatively during the campaign period ("Qualifying Criteria").

5. A Mabuhay Miles member who converts Bank Reward Points to Mabuhay Miles during the campaign period will receive 1.5x bonus Miles (up to 50K Mabuhay Miles converted cumulatively over campaign period) and 2x bonus Miles (more than 50K Mabuhay Miles converted cumulatively over campaign period).

6. There is no cap on the maximum number of Bonus Mabuhay Miles that a Mabuhay Miles member can earn by participating in this Campaign.

7. A list of participating banks and the applicable Bonus Mabuhay Miles percentages is set forth in the Appendix to these T&Cs.

8. Redemption process for converting Bank Reward Points to Mabuhay Miles for each of the participating banks can be found on Mabuhay Miles website or at respective bank’s website.

9. The Bonus Mabuhay Miles will be calculated on a cumulative sum of Bank Reward Points converted during the Campaign Period.

10. Converted Base Mabuhay Miles will be awarded as per applicable conversion ratios of each respective partner and will be credited to Mabuhay Miles member’s Mabuhay Miles account as per the applicable participating bank’s conversion timeframes specified in such bank’s terms and conditions.

11. The Bonus Mabuhay Miles earned during this promotion will be credited to member’s Mabuhay Miles account within 30 working days post the end date of the promotion, by 15 July 2022 based on the cumulative number of Bank Reward Points transferred.

12. If any Mabuhay Miles member holds credit cards of different banks and converts the Bank Reward Points to Mabuhay Miles under this promotion, then the number of Bonus Miles he/she will earn will reflect separately in the members account for each bank partner.

13. The conversion of Bank Reward Points to Base Mabuhay Miles is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the participating bank.

14. For Mabuhay Miles members, all Base Mabuhay Miles or Bonus Mabuhay Miles awarded in accordance with this Campaign does not expire for engaged members. Engaged members are those who have undertaken the following activities, within two (2) consecutive years, starting 01 January 2022 - 31 December 2023, and two years thereafter.

A. Earned flight Miles on PAL, Codeshare, and/or other Airline Partners; and/or earned non-flight Miles thru Program Partners

B. Redeemed Miles for Flight Awards or Service Class Upgrade Awards, and other non-flight redemptions

C. Bought Miles

D. Received Bonus Miles (except for enrollment acquisition campaigns)

E. Transferred and/or received Miles

F. Reinstated expired Miles

15. Any transactions made under this campaign related to exchange of Mabuhay Miles cannot be reversed.

16. In case a cardholder has redeemed within the promo period but has not successfully resolved issues during the conversion to Mabuhay Miles within the promo period, they will they be given an extension to fix the exception/concern within 30 working days post the end of the campaign period, by 15 July 2022.

17. Participation under this promotion is purely voluntary for the members.

18. This offer cannot be clubbed with any other campaign / transfer offer.

B. General

1. All decisions made by PAL in respect to any matter relating to this Campaign shall be final. PAL reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions, terminate or otherwise amend this Campaign without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion. PAL reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participating Mabuhay Miles members.

2. All Base Mabuhay Miles and Bonus Mabuhay Miles awarded under this Campaign will be subject to the Mabuhay Miles Terms and Conditions.

3. Individuals are only permitted to hold one Mabuhay Miles membership account. Any fraudulent or duplicate Mabuhay Miles accounts, including the original Mabuhay Miles account held by such individuals will be suspended and disqualified from the Campaign.

4. By participating in the Campaign, each participant agrees that any and all personal data he/she submits (including his/her name, Mabuhay Miles membership number, and email address) may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed (collectively, “Processed”) by PAL. All collection, use and disclosure of participant’s personal data will be in accordance with Philippine Airlines Privacy Policy.

5. PAL will not be responsible for any consequences that any participant may suffer (including without limitation any damage, loss, injury or disappointment), or that results in an infringement of any law or regulation, by participating in the Campaign.

6. By participating in the Campaign, each participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these T&Cs, Philippine Airlines, and conditions of carriage, PAL’s Privacy Policy and Mabuhay Miles Terms and Conditions (collectively, “PAL Terms & Conditions”). Non-compliance with or breach of any of these PAL Terms and Conditions may result in the Mabuhay Miles member being disqualified at any stage of the Campaign.

8. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and are construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any proceeding filed against PAL involving Mabuhay Miles, must be instituted in the proper courts of Pasay City, Philippines, to the exclusion of all other venues of actions or proceedings.
